Hi, I’m Katie!

I’m so glad that you’re here!

My journey as an artist started when I was young. I’ve always been happiest when creating, and art has been a much needed outlet for me.

As a child I also LOVED rocks! I collected them, traded them, and throughout the years have often bought them (which has led me to an extensive rock collection that I still have to this day).

So it only seemed natural that my love for these two things should merge into my current passion: painting dots on local Pacific Northwest rocks.

The creation of a dot painting is quite prayerful for me… it’s a task that requires patience, persistence, and creativity. It gives me a feeling that transcends any other medium of art I’ve created and it has truly ignited a passion in my spirit.

I love that each piece I create is unique and one-of-a-kind and is oftentimes directly influenced by how I am feeling at that given moment…

It’s like pouring a bit off my heart into every single piece.

As a PNW native, there’s something even more special to me about taking something as seemingly simple as a rock, and turning it into something MORE. Something that not only brings me joy, but that brings joy and peace to others. There’s a true love and prayer to this artwork! I’m so thankful to be a part of it and to share it with you.

  • Family

    My family means everything to me! They are a constant inspiration for my artwork. I have an incredibly supportive husband and two boys who are my whole world. I’m so thankful my art has allowed me to spend more time with them!

  • Coffee

    I spent 10 years working as a barista and in management at Starbucks. To say I love coffee would be an understatement! One of my favorite ways to create art is with a paint brush in one hand and a coffee cup in the other. ;)
